Update on the COVID-19 pandemic

Information regarding COVID-19 is in constant change, as is the situation regarding vaccination and prioritization for immune-compromised individuals.

If you have any COVID-19-related questions, we’ve created a specific COVID section on our website that can be accessed by clicking here or by selecting the “News & Events” tab from our homepage. In this section, you’ll find the latest news and information about the pandemic in Canada from trustworthy and reliable sources.

Any specific questions that you may have regarding the COVID-19 vaccination, delays between vaccine dosing, and prioritization within your province are best answered by your healthcare team. They’re the ones who know you and your particular situation and are therefore in a position to best address your unique concerns.

Created by, and entirely focused on, Canadians impacted by myeloma, Myeloma Canada is the only national charitable organization committed to providing you with the most up-to-date and reliable information on myeloma. Some of the ways we do this is through our monthly e-newsletter, “Myeloma Matters”, as well as through our social media platforms.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us at contact@myeloma.ca or toll-free at 1-888-798-5771 with any questions regarding our programs and services.

About the Multiple Myeloma March

Walk the Walk. Make Myeloma Matter.

Welcome to Myeloma Canada’s 13th Annual Multiple Myeloma March!

In light of COVID-19, some cities may be modifying the format of their March. Please be sure to check your city’s March page often. Click here to find your city.

Myeloma Canada’s Multiple Myeloma March is our most important fundraising event, enabling us to raise money for critical research and move one step closer to a cure. This year has been a challenging one, and physical distancing has affected many in-person activities, but we’re not letting that stop us! We’re committed as ever to reaching our goal of raising $600,000 to fund research that is meaningful to you!

It's your March, your way!

Back for its 2nd year…the Personalized Distance Challenge! Set your own personal goal (to run, walk, cycle) starting on the day you register until the day of your community Multiple Myeloma March. It’s a great way to stay healthy, active and energized throughout the months leading up to your event. Find out more here.

Your support of the 2021 Multiple Myeloma March is absolutely crucial…this is our most important campaign year and we can’t do it without you.

Register for one of more than 32 participating communities, or if there isn’t a March close to you, join our ‘Virtual” March Team.  Help us take one step closer to finding a cure.

Funds raised through this year’s Multiple Myeloma March will go toward furthering important research projects you’ve identified as a priority to you through the PSP. Learn more here.

We’ll also continue to fund the Canadian Myeloma Research Group (CMRG) in their advancement of Canadian clinical trials in myeloma, as well as real world evidence generation using their national myeloma database.
