Become a volunteer

Volunteers are the foundation of Myeloma Canada.

We are always looking for individuals who wish to volunteer their time and energy to make myeloma matter. There are countless meaningful ways you can help, with as little or as much time as you’d like.

The opportunities to volunteer are endless. Whether it’s by becoming active in a support group, participating or creating a fundraising event, joining an advocacy initiative (like advocating for better access to new therapies), helping create awareness for myeloma by participating in our annual Multiple Myeloma Awareness Month campaign every March, offering up your expertise, or donating a prize or service, we are humbled by whatever you can offer.

Fundraise

Our incredible volunteers are the backbone of Myeloma Canada’s national fundraising events. Whether as leaders, members of a committee, or independently, we wouldn’t be able to do these important awareness and fundraising events without them.

Use your creativity and channel your energy into holding your own fundraiser. It’s a fun and rewarding way to connect with others, create awareness, and raise funds for myeloma.

Join a Myeloma Canada committee or council

Myeloma Canada has a variety of committees and councils where you can volunteer your time and expertise. Areas where you can get involved include raising awareness for myeloma, advocacy initiatives, and patient or caregiver representation.

Your expertise and lived experience with myeloma is invaluable.
